We have undertaken several projects in the public and private sectors, some of which are:

• Provided legal assistance to Government of the Punjab in forming Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIE). This is a Guarantee Company having share capital of 150.00 Million Rupees, set up under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 and has the unique distinction to be the first company of its nomenclature to be incorporated in Pakistan. Presently, we are providing legal support to this company which is in the process of establishing Sundar Industrial Estate near Lahore; the project will be over 1500 acres; the company is also managing the affairs of Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore and Multan Industrial Estate, Multan.


• Advised Export Promotion Bureau, Government of Pakistan, presently known as the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan regarding incorporation of Expo Lahore (Pvt.) Limited. It is a Twenty Billion Rupee Venture of the Federal & Provincial Governments in which private developers will also have a substantial involvement. Currently, we are providing legal services to the said company which has the mandate to establish an Expo Center at Lahore which will comprise of exhibition halls, hotel and one of the tallest towers ever built in Pakistan. The President of Pakistan Mr Pervez Musharaf on March 13, 2006 performed the foundation stone laying ceremony; at the moment the construction works of Expo halls are near completion.


• We advise Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as its Legal Advisors on contentious and non-contentious issues all over Pakistan as well as internationally, especially in corporate, service and real estate matters.


• We provide legal services to ORIX Leasing Pakistan Limited through Multan Offices and handling wide ranging matters.


• Assisted the Industries Department, Government of Pakistan in incorporation of Technology Up-gradation and Skill Development Company – a 150.00 Million Rupee project. This company shall establish technology up-gradation and skill development centers all over Pakistan.


• National Industrial Parks Development and Management Company, owned by the Government of Pakistan having a share capital of 500.00 Million Rupee, was recently incorporated for which we provided legal support. This company shall establish an industrial estate primarily in Karachi and later on in other parts of the country. We provide wide range of legal services to this company on regular basis.


• We also assisted Government of Punjab in incorporation of Punjab AgriMarketing Company (PAMCO) - a Guarantee company having share capital of 100.00 Million Rupee project and a revolutionary step in the field of agriculture processing and marketing. Currently, we are advising ontheir complex legal issues, to this company, on regular basis.


• Assisted Agriculture Department, Government of Punjab in incorporating Research and Development Companies which will look after the development of major agriculture products of the Province of Punjab.


• We are also advising Pakistan Dairy Development Company (PDDC) on their legal matters. This is also a guarantee company with share capital incorporated under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 for bringing revolution in the dairy sector of Pakistan.


• Recently, we handled registration of collective mark Basmati as Geographical Indication which has been done for the first time in Pakistan. The registration process also included drafting of regulations regarding use of the mark as Geographical Indication. Basmati has the unique distinction to be the first Geographical Indication of Pakistan.


• We provide legal assistance on regular basis for the Queen's Proctor Treasury Solicitors, United Kingdom in contentious matters pending before English Courts, involving expatriate Pakistanis.


• We advise a number of foreign television channels including ZEE Network and Turner Broadcasting Systems Inc. We provide them wide range of legal services ranging from distribution agreement and negotiations with the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority to service matters.


• In the recent past, we advised Government of the Punjab in updating and modernizing laws relating to Agriculture Marketing in the Punjab.


• We also have the experience of working on the Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Implementation Agreements (IAs). Recently, we handled the Power Project at Sundar Industrial Estate a joint venture between our clients Punjab Industrial Estates Development & Management Company and consortium between US and Kuwaiti companies.


• We have also actively participated in drafting/upgrading the Laws regarding Consumer Protection Issues and Non Profit Organizations in Pakistan.


• We also advise a number of Pharmaceutical Companies with whom our relationship includes providing legal opinions, initiating trade mark infringement suits and handling other issues before various fora.


• We also provided legal services to Shaheen Insurance Company Limited - an insurance company with one of the highest underwriting profits in the insurance industry. It is one of the emerging companies making its presence felt with each passing year. The Company has been showing a rapid growth in premium volume and profitability.


• Advised Kashf Foundation, the largest Microfinance Organization in Pakistan working in four districts of the Punjab, with a portfolio of 900.00 Million Rupee and having over 70,000 clients. This organization has transformed itself into a guarentee company.


• In the recent past, we ardently worked on the Labor Laws of Pakistan which resulted in formation of precise and pragmatic inspection procedure and forms, now applicable in industrial sector.


• We have been legal advisors to the Federal Land Commission (FLC) and have handled around 300 cases for it in the High Court and the Supreme Court. FLC is a department of Government of Pakistan and hold proprietary rights of Government lands all over Pakistan.
